What is behind your desire to change? Change powered by criticism isn't as likely to stick.
You are headed for trouble when your self-improvement stems from self-loathing instead of self-love.
Where does this choice take me? Will it take me where I want to go? Where is it that I want to go? Does this help me get there?

Your intention is what you want. Your attention is what you focus on. To make progress consistently, your intention & attention must be aligned!
Keep going. You will want to quit. You won't want to do the work. You will be tired. There will be excuses and exceptions. You've taken those detours before and you know how it feels. Don't quit - stay the course - keep going!
We listen to our internal dialogue all day long. As Ben Bergeron says, "No one will coach you more than that voice" and it will either be your best coach or your worst coach.
Desire without discipline is depression. Desire without discipline is feeling lost, stuck & frustrated.

Don't prioritize self-care only on days you can fit it in. Self-care doesn't have to be the same list of habits each day. Every day holds a unique capacity for self-care. Choose it daily.
Fear doesn't stop death, it stops life. Fear doesn't prevent failure, it guarantees it. Too many people focus on their fear of loss rather than on what they stand to gain.
